Neutropenia Patient Testing Dear Severe Congenital or Cyclical Neutropenia Community Member,
X4 Pharma is developing therapies for patients with primary immune deficiencies, including severe chronic, congenital, cyclical, or idiopathic neutropenia. In working towards clinical trials to test potential therapies for these conditions, they are supporting a no-cost genetic testing program with a company called Invitae.
Patients and their healthcare professionals can access no-cost genetic testing and counseling through Invitae.
This test examines a panel of 23 genes known to be associated with severe congenital neutropenia. A patient’s doctor needs to order the test (a saliva / mouth swab), and the results are returned to the doctor to then be shared with the patient.
A flyer describing the study and contact information is presented below. Community members should feel free to share this opportunity with anyone they know who might be eligible. The study is conducted independently by parties not affiliated with RareShare, which will not be involved with its execution or the collection of patient data.
Best regards,
